Bygones of a lost era

25/2/2011.
RE Meeting 1

"He walked the sandy shores of Hokkaido,New Jersey, and Africa, leaving behind a long trail of prints that were  slowly being washed away by the unrelenting seas.Young faces turn to look at him, smiling, but there is no recognition there. He remembers only bygones of a lost era, of the times where he once was too, once a young man taking on the world, and he remembers the laughter of his friends long dead in valiant struggle, and sees them laughing and waving at him, beckoning him to join them frolicking in the white crested waves, before finally, becoming one of them and smiling, taking the along with him last traces of the past leaving only neatly stencilled words of a eerily familiar past."
