About Us

A group of 5 ordinary students trying to make a difference in whatever way we can...

Samuel
My name is Samuel and I am from Class 3B. I would like to think of myself as a friendly and sociable individual and as I know how to speak Hokkien and Cantonese besides Mandarin and English, I have no problems communicating with the people at the hospice. I guess this is why I have the deepest friendships with the patients. I have learnt to serve, and through serving, I learn.

Andrew
I am Andrew, from class 3E. I am from Raffles Voices, and I enjoy singing and music of all sorts. I also enjoy reading and computer gaming, and the occasional indulgence in food. The most important thing to me, with regards to this project, is to serve the patients wholeheartedly and without complaining, as well as getting along with each other.

Leon
I'm Leon, from from class 3A. I enjoy all kinds of sports, as well as computer gaming. I am extremely talkative and friendly with the people I know, but I take awhile to adjust to people I have never met before. This project has been an eye-opener for me, as I feel that I have learnt a lot from interacting from so many different people at the hospice

Joseph
I'm Joseph, from class 3B. I would consider myself a rather introverted person, usually opening up to people whom I have already known for a rather long time and building close friendships with others. This project allowed me to discover a side of myself, and allowed me to become rather close with a group of new people at the hospice, giving me a set of new insights on life. The time at the hospice has taught me an extremely valuable lesson- To treasure the remaining of my life, and to use it the best that I can.

Jue Fei
Hello, I am Jue Fei from class 3B. I am active in sports and enjoy music and audio related gear as a hobby, along with reading and surfing the web. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and interacting with them, and in this aspect I am comfortable with the seniors at HCA and I am able to get acquainted with them in a short time period and relate to each other; through this I hope that I may become a companion to the people in my life and not just the seniors in the hospice.
